rickb20 #2 Posted May 7, 2003 Which game is this? I have never played any of the Star Wars games but I'm in the market for them. Rick

NE146 #4 Posted May 7, 2003 I guess the Star Fire Project got "upgraded"? Will you still be making a straight port of Star Fire though?
birdie3 #5 Posted May 7, 2003 Isn't that the time travelling phone booth from Dr. Who?? What the hell?? Can someone please tell me what has happened to Dr. Who??
Vic George 2K3 #6 Posted May 8, 2003 Bill and Ted took Dr. Who's vehicle for a time-travelling trip by mistake. They like the amount of room it provides but think its speed is totally bogus!
JCroniger #7 Posted May 8, 2003 Very cool Manuel!! I can't wait to play the completed game
PeeknPoke #8 Posted May 8, 2003 Nice Manuel. When is the 2600 version of StarFire ready, looks like its going to be great I wonder if you could put those ships in as easter eggs? That would be cool. birdie3:Dr.Who series died many moons ago when the BBC pulled the plug on it, it tried a comeback in an american funded/type rehash but didnt get the viewing figures it should have. So as for now Dr.Who is in limbo. Lee

MegaManFan #14 Posted May 9, 2003 Now hopefully, one of these days, one of the two of us will import a huge stash of them!
AtariDude #15 Posted May 9, 2003 I love Jelly Babies. That and K-9 were probably why I liked the show "Doctor Who" so much (Tom Baker's acting helped too).
liveinabin #16 Posted May 9, 2003 The great thing is, he wasn't acting - he really IS like that!! Cool screen grabs Manuel, TARDIS, Slave 1 and TIEs all in one game - you can damn well write the manual plot synopsis!!
PeeknPoke #17 Posted May 9, 2003 this tppic just shows we are all around the same age (well, being fans of Atari and all) Nobodys mentioned any of the other Doctors as Tom Baker was the one around in the 70s, so hes the one we all grew up with (and he was the best too) Lee
birdie3 #18 Posted May 10, 2003 Its been a very long time. I watched Dr Who in the late 70's on TVO here in Canada. The funny part is, I was VERY young but fondly remember Dr Who for what ever reason. My dad liked the show and the theme song is imortal. I remember episodes with a poseur looking R2D2 with horns sticking out of its head speaking distorted heavy English and funny looking brillo pad monsters etc... and Tom Baker was extremely ecentric. I remember an older grey haired Dr Who but he wasnt as entertaining as the original one. I remeber we then used to watch another British show called "Dont Ask Me" where they taked about where snot came from and strange stuff like that. Where can I watch episodes of this shownow (Dr Who)?? Is this show in rotation anywhere?? The Space channel here in Canada should play this show. AtariDude #19 Posted May 10, 2003 Dr. Who used to be on the public television stations when I was in NJ. That seemed to stop sometime in the late 80s. Now I have to get episodes on DVD (although I get to watch the entire sequence which is good since sometimes I would forget to watch one of the episodes and thus the story was ruined). And I do remember the other doctors like Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton (I forgot the very first Doctor Who - was it Hartnell?). I have only seen a few Pertwee episodes and Troughton I only saw in the "Five Doctors" and he looked like he would have been fun to watch.
PeeknPoke #20 Posted May 11, 2003 http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/doctorwho/episod...ide/index.shtml I never was a big fan of Dr.Who, but it had its moments. Lee
