Laner Posted February 23, 2017 Share Posted February 23, 2017 I bought a german keyboard as a replacement for my wonky US keyboard; swapped the keycaps and it works fine. However, what's wrong with the existing one? Have you checked the ribbon cable connection? Is it frayed or torn? I've seen examples of that issue being fixed with a silver conductive pen/paint (there are videos on youtube). Might be worth looking into.
