New Project for my 4A and PEB

Shift838

Recommended Posts

I got it all together and connected into Heatwave at 38.4k with a HDX modded RS232 card. All is working, SCSI, RAM Disk, TripleTech, etc.

But....

I think i may have jarred a wire off my homemade 2 port cart expander for port #1. Port #1 has my FR99 permanently mounted and selecting any program from the menu the menu blanks, but the FlashROM99 graphic title remains and constantly flashes. So I need to open it back up and inspect the cartridge selector switch and the cartridge expander board.

99% done!

fixed my issue with my 2 port cartridge port. As suspected I knocked a wire off.

Here is the inside view of both sides of the All in One and the back view.

You can't really see the 99/4A console mainboard with everything else but it's all there.

Chris,

I think you have done pretty much everything I would want or consider.  Having said that, what you did is a LOT of work.............

Beery

It was a lot of work, but I enjoyed figuring it out.  The hardest part was getting everything to fit!  Only a full size tower would do it.  I did use a different power supply for the 99/4A mainboard.

With my new 838 PEB board that is going to bolt right up to a ATX case it may be a bit easier and along with my 838-IO it will be a lot less cramped in the case!

I will post new pics when I get all that done.
