eightbit
Ok, maybe it is obvious to someone and maybe I am missing it somehow, but why does every Atari 400 and 800 I have ever encountered (including the 800 I picked up on the weekend) have a tiny sticker under the cartridge door that says "DOM"? Did Atari hire Dom DeLuise to inspect the cartridge port before shipping? If so he did not leave any food or wine stains on the hardware in the process which is good. eightbit
Aha! Now I know the truth I am kind of saddened that Dom DeLuise was not a part of the manufacturing process afterall. Thanks for the info!

Sorry, you have to watch the movie "Fandango" (w/ Kevin Costner) to find out who Dom is. Seriously though, it's a funny movie but it's not relevant to this thread. Story's premise is a search for a Dom.
Mclaneinc
Maybe its Dominic Toretto and the rest of the Fast and Furious Gang when they raided Atari HQ back then
