Frankie
I find my self running Roy Dean's analog clock that uses the Z.SYS driver often. Some-what like a screen-saver. I would be willing to pay a small fee if there was an intrepid programmer who could code a VBXE high-res analog clock. Maybe even a grandfather clock... Roydea6
tclock.xex Here is the same clock without all the Calendar stuff. Z.SYS and SDX required.

Gunstar
Is the z.sys driver part of SDX or is it a separate driver from elswhere?

flashjazzcat
You can also access "Z:" using the SD 3.x driver or via IDE Plus 2.0 or Ultimate 1MB PBI (the "Z:" driver is built into the PBI BIOS in that case).
Gunstar
Z.SYS driver is included in recent versions of SDX. Cool. I have Dropcheck's recent version, though only 4.7, like with SiDE 2, not 4.8...I have yet to reflash it.

That's cool I guess, but I can never see myself going back to the older disk based Sparta's after using SDX. I'm satisfied with MyIDE 2 for my purposes anyway, especially since it can be piggy-backed on my SSDX cart from Dropcheck and used with it. Z.SYS was introduced in 4.41 afair. All official images, including 4.47, contain it. Type DIR CAR: to check.
