Good price for run-of-the-mill cart?

Recommended Posts

Around here (Rochester, NY) it was about a buck for the longest time. Now most of the local places are charging between 3-5 for any old loose cart.

Pretty sure the one retro gaming store I know of on Long Island (Video Game Trading Post) has a box full of loose Atari cartridges that are 3 for $5. So $1.67 each, I guess.

$1-3 would be a normal price for many common games. More popular ones, even if not rare, may command $5 or so. There are many dealers out there at flea markets and antique stores that have no clue and just charge a general price. I've seen $5 for common games, even Combat. Of course, they can ask whatever they want, but the inventory just sits there.
