Rare Centipede Commercial

Recommended Posts

From 1983-84 Atari made a series of commercials called "Atari Club" or "Atari Clubhouse" in which a group of kids would play whatever game that was being advertised these aired mainly during Children's Programming. There were only two ads that have ever surfaced in 2015 via this series of commercial breaks uploaded by a user called 80sCommercialVault:

, "Pigs in Space" & "Sorcerer's Apprentice."

Until recently I discovered what I believe is the first of these ads while watching another series of Commercial Breaks on Youtube.

Atari Club - 'Centipede' (March 26th, 1983).wmv

You can watch the original video I got this from here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nunFDULAl58

Special Thanks goes to Darian Sewell for original source.

Around the 18min mark for the Centipede commercial...

Save all the other stuff...

You forgot the Star Wars' Kenner commercial at the 12 minute mark. ;)

@Mclaneinc What do you mean by the other stuff? Are you talking about the other two ads I've mentioned?

No, was just saving people who just wanted to see the advert and not the rest of the video ;)

God it must have been short, I skipped through the whole thing little bit at a time :)

@Mclaneinc You don't have to watch the entire video, if you just wanted to see the ad I've attached the Centipede ad stand alone in a downloadable WMV file in the OP.
