SIO2PC RS232 PCB + Components (kit)

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have 18 spare SIO2PC RS232 PCBs including components. I'd like to sell those as a kit if anybody is interested. Note that this is not the USB version. It's an unpopulated PCB and components to solder yourself. The only thing you need to add is (half) a SIO cable or if you build it inside your Atari you need a DB9 male-female serial RS232 cable. If necessary I can chuck in a pin header as seen below.

Price will be €6,= plus €4,= international shipping and packaging.

This includes:

1 PCB

1 DB9 female connector

1 MAX232EPE

5 1uF capacitors

1 10K resistor

1 1N4148 diode

1 16p socket

Here are some pictures of the finished product:

It converts RS232 levels (+3...+12V for binary 0, -3V...-12V for binary 1) to TTL levels (0V for binary 0, 5V for binary 1), and vice versa.

will this work in both modes... peripheral emulation and prosystem (serial to disk drive for real disk creation)?

What is the total shipped in usd?

It does only peripheral emulation. As per the current paypal exchange rate: 10,39 USD (1 EUR = 1,03938 USD)

All orders have been sent out. In case somebody digs up this thread in a few months or years, I still have a bunch of them left if you need one.
