BillLoguidice #3 Posted January 24, 2017 Hey all. Does anyone know if this stuff is real? http://www.licensingworks.us/meet-our-clients/intellivision/ Seems legit. That's some major marketing hyperbole there, though, and quite a bit of truth stretching.
Rev #4 Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) http://www.licensemag.com/license-global/intellivision-productions-adds-apparel The initial product line will feature Intellivision designs with over-washed game box cover art on categories including t-shirts, sweatshirts, underwear, swimwear and headwear. So, can't wait to see the underwear and bikinis..... Maybe cmart and eric will be modeling them off. Edited January 24, 2017 by Rev

Rev #7 Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) http://www.licensingworks.us/licensing-works-secures-apparel-license-deal-t-line-design-intellivision-productions/ The new designs will be shown to retail buyers beginning January 2 and initially exhibited by T-Line in February during MAGIC in Las Vegas. Licensed territories include the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. --------- Here is page for the MAGIC show where T Line designs is supposedly showing off the designs. Someone near vegas should go to this show with a camera. Edited January 24, 2017 by Rev
+Tarzilla #8 Posted January 24, 2017 License Brokers/Agent...middle men...drive up licence costs because they have to make money and a lot of times the broker/agent decides arbitrarily what something is worth and a lot of times they have an unrealistic view of a property's worth and would rather make no money than some. carlsson #13 Posted January 24, 2017 Rev, didn't you see the Running Man A-line dress? Forgive me for being a heretic, but I don't find that design pretty in any way! https://www.redbubble.com/people/evilzoneonline/works/23952966-classic-video-game-football-player-intellivision?grid_pos=4&p=a-line-dress Also in the original link it was mentioned they might license the Intellivision brand to lottery scratchers. Wouldn't that be nice, being able to win the Intellivision lottery?
+cmart604 #14 Posted January 24, 2017 Been there. Done that. :-) Funny thing. I only kept like 10 pencils! And my kids use them for school. Should of kept more. Ha I think my son is set for pencils until the day he dies. Lol
BillLoguidice #15 Posted January 24, 2017 Also in the original link it was mentioned they might license the Intellivision brand to lottery scratchers. Wouldn't that be nice, being able to win the Intellivision lottery? Videogames have been featured in lottery scratchers for ages now, so it's probably a natural for them to try and target that market.

+freewheel #18 Posted January 24, 2017 I've played Pac-Man scratches. And a Frogger slot machine in Vegas recently. Inty scratch tickets are GENIUS. They'll sell thlusands to the rabid "keep everything mint" collectors that will never be scratched, hence never redeemed. That's basically free money given the unit cost of almost zero. Homebrewers can expect a bit more legal fun if Keith is in bed with one of the more aggressive outfits (I don't know these guys very well). We may have to be a bit more careful with the logo for a while.

Yes, but on the other hand, they take care of managing negotiations, contracts, and all the lawyery stuff in there. Plus, I believe they also handle enforcement of brand policies. Some of that is necessary and good to have, and if someone does it for you, it may be worth it.

+BBWW #24 Posted January 25, 2017 50% of the games released post 2000 are technically in Trademark Infringement violation. If someone had the money to fight, the mark could be invalidated for failure to enforce it. I doubt that anyone would want that fight. Having this firm might be a means to keep the Trademarks and Copyrights Protected.
