+cmart604 #26 Posted January 31, 2017 This is a great character and one that I think needs at least a trilogy of games if not more.
carlsson #27 Posted January 31, 2017 The Mayan culture was signficantly much north of the Amazon(as). The culture most associated with the Amazon would be the Chachapoya, but that is hard enough to spell, much less that most Intellivision gamers would catch the reference. That is assuming the game takes place in this region, and is not about a jungle full of female warriors, a.k.a. Amazons. Or for that matter a game about the hoops one has to go through to buy something from Amazon.com, which sometimes can be a real jungle.
DZ-Jay #28 Posted January 31, 2017 It is do able in BG/FG mode as it is the first 8 color of the FG pixel, and 16 color of the BG color. Red/black is fine, Red/Orange is fine, White/Orange is also fine. Colorstack mode isn't doable. It's also doable in Color Stack. You just have to be clever. Red/black is fine, Red/Orange is fine, White/Orange is also fine. Colorstack mode isn't doable. You could do it in colour stack mode as follows:- First set the colour stack to :- C_BLK, C_RED, C_BLK, C_ORG (or STACK_BLACK, STACK_RED, STACK_BLACK, STACK_ORANGE in IntyBASIC) Then at : 1 - Mix in STIC.cs_advance (CS_ADVANCE in IntyBASIC) and draw the flames in orange. 2 - Mix in STIC.cs_advance (CS_ADVANCE in IntyBASIC) and draw the gap. 3 - Mix in STIC.cs_advance (CS_ADVANCE in IntyBASIC) and draw the "coals" in white.

Haha! We thought alike! My mental Color Stack was: Black, Red, Black, Orange. The beauty of Color Stack is that you could employ GROM drawing cards as well, which perhaps on this screen may not be necessary, but in others may make a difference in alleviating GRAM requirements. -dZ. atari5200dude82 #33 Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Heck yeah, that was a cool game, they should made in to a movie instead , of the crystal skull. IMHO. But anyway , if u decide to do it in the future. I will be gladly to give u the real and true history of the continent of Atlantis. Maybe a suggestion at the end of this game. Sydney needs to teleport In a time conveyor. Transported back in time with a alien guide to assist him in his quest . carlsson #44 Posted February 2, 2017 Why does the onscreen text say Sidney when the character is named Sydney, or is that a picture of his cousin? The "Aaaaaaaaaaa...." reminds me of the scream when the guy in Impossible Mission on the C64 falls through the bottom floor of a screen.

Kiwi #47 Posted February 2, 2017 I been working on text printing routine the other day. It going to be very good use of read/restore function in Intybasic. The game I'm making going to be a bit text heavy. Looking good!!
