Jason_Atari
Hey guys, i picked up a game bundle recently with these 3 rainbow vision games in it. I didn't even know these existed so any info would be helpful
Philflound
You should post this in the Atariboxed forum. Are these PAL?
Jason_Atari
You should post this in the Atariboxed forum. Are these PAL? Yeah these are PAL, and the atariboxed forum is not active
atari181
According to Atariboxed Asteroid belt is R8 and Treasure Island is a R9
Philflound
The forum is active. i just posted last week on it. Not much goes on though. Guess not enough people are into the foreign games. Phil
Philflound
According to Atariboxed Asteroid belt is R8 and Treasure Island is a R9 Those are Suntek versions. I believe there is a slight variation between Suntek and Rainbow Vision. I think it's the shape of the cart. I have one title from both Suntek and RV, though I can't remember off hand which one. atari181
Hmmm, I thought the carts were the same, but the boxes were different?
Jason_Atari
That's what I thought too.
Philflound
Ok, looking through my guide I thought it was Pac-Kong, but I have one RV/Suntek and another that isn't. Been working lately on acquiring foreign games. Though it's not cheap to do.
Schitti
Hello Jason, congrats, you have made a really nice catch. The PAL titles are all from Suntek and hard to find. Were there any manuals in the lot? I have seen only lose carts in the pics.Yes, the cartshells are the same as with Rainbowvision, only the boxes differ. The biggest difference are actually the logos on the front of the box.I remember a statusupdate post here two weeks ago. Another member has been annoyed, because he forgot to place a bid. This has happened to everyone, at least once. The forum on our website is for internal purposes only. Phil meant the Atariboxed Subforum here on AA. The PAL community is growing

Rom Hunter
Great find, Jason! Especially Treasure Discovery and Skydiver. Here's the whole Suntek range:http://www.atarimania.com/list_games_atari-2600-vcs-suntek-sunteck-co_publisher_70_2_G.htmlIf you ever find Walker (SS-032) or the unknown SS-014, please let me know.
