They haven't posted anything in weeks, but your bump of their forum discussions prompted me to visit them again. The most recent thread is called "Quality" and here are some highlights. Seems like a reasonable, if slightly salty, question:

POLYMEGACOLON is pretty scary, they're threatening "disciplinary action, if necessary."

I wouldn't want some "random schmuck" SOILING my forum either..

This thread will be Tacofied soon enough.... though I think it was suggested that the R-Blo was more of a burger?

And like a burger joint, R-blo really gets you with the side dishes. I mean, sure you could just take the burger, but you really want some fries and onion rings with that, don't you?

Any of you know if or when this is going to get released?

My money is on "we're delaying the release of POLYMEGA to mke it even better!"

These guys have done nothing but blow smoke so far. I will assume it's vaporware until proven otherwise.

Well it stacks up like a burger.

I was thinking something closer to "piles up" (like something else that comes from cows), but hey, either way's good with me.

"Stacks up" is more manly and worthy of admiration. "Piles up" is like it's just kinda happening and it's shitty too.

How about "only exists in dreams?" Is that "manly" too?

At least Lythium has the good taste to simply disappear, like any self-respecting vapor ware.

Why do you want this? What will it do that your computer cannot? Can you contribute any sort of feedback to the discussion?

I. Want this so I can play retro games on a modern tv. Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Colecovision. You can play these on a computer but I want to use the original controllers.

None of those systems are supported by the Polymega as far as I can tell.

You can use Coleco vision, Atari 2600/7800, and other controllers on any modern computer with a USB adapter like this one. https://www.retronicdesign.com/en/

Edit:

And this one for Atari 5200 controllers. http://www.2600-daptor.com/5200-daptor.htm

Then run an HDMI cable from your computer to your TV and done.

If you are inclined to use real hardware, that is another story. Probably not worth it unless that is important to you or you endlessly like to tinker just because you can.

It's not stealing considering that Retro Freak came up with a modular system first, just they sold it all in one box until now.

I guess this new one is to ride the popularity wave of the SNES Classic.
