Season 6 - The New HSC - Week 4 = Jr. Pac-Man

Visiting my parents without a 2600. Have played earlier this week for a few minutes and have a photo, but not with me.

 

Scored a bit over 10,000. This game is too hard for me. I can deliver the photo on Monday when I'm back home if you like.

Meantime, the kid I choose is Paperboy, but I dont think his name or true age is ever said. I guess he's young/old enough to have a paper route.

Had to play this one on the Atari Flashback Portable since I don't have the actual cartridge. I never played Jr. Pac-Man before, so my score isn't very good. But hey, I tried.

This was using an emulator on a macbook and using only arrow key control buttons. It's not a great score, but it's the best I could do with the 30 minutes of practice time I allowed myself. I think I could have done better with a joystick.

What a tough pac man game! Took me three controllers to find one that didn't drive me nuts, and even so it was poopy driving. Again, really nice game though. I feel you'd get your money's worth for this one back in the day.
