+Nathan Strum
I ordered a few kits from Mojoatomic, and am in the process of refurbishing a few of my 2600's. He bagged everything up neatly, and with the instructions in this thread, it all makes for a nice, easy upgrade. Definitely recommended.
forrestsmith
Quick Question There is no C201 on the Revs 16 and up boards or am I just not seeing it on the sheet?. Put one of Monoatomic kits in my Sears heavy Sixer and it looks great! Thanks Forrest

Put one of Monoatomic kits in my Sears heavy Sixer and it looks great! Thanks Forrest That's correct - C201 hangs off pin 1 of the 6507 MPU on pre rev 16 boards, but was omitted on rev 16 and up. Glad the kit fixed you up!
+H454
Buy new stubby solder type coax style RCA connectors - I "Think" these are the ones... They not, i bought some - they have no hole at top center. You can use them, but you need Rg179. If the rca jack on the board gets replaced with this: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/cui-inc/RCJ-021/CP-1406-ND/408493 You can use ANY male rca ( its full height). Plus, by installing a new jack, that's one less place to deal with corrosion / bad connection. Don't worry, their is plenty of room.
dphirschler
Pm sent about the tuneup kit. Looking to get a kit for the six switcher minus the 7805, plus the Traco switching regulator, plus the power plug. Darryl
mofjel
I wonder if the 850 ohm between pin 6 and 9 only applies to NTSC Tia chips? Or also to the pal Tia chip?
Leatherrebel5150
Something I've been wondering for a while but never asked. On the Light Sixer main board there are 3 other chicklet caps similar to C103 of the switch board. Why wouldn't these be listed for replacement also?
