oracle_jedi
Hey guys, I have an STe that looks beautiful and works great - mostly. It's a U.S. spec model. I have it connected to a Commodore 1084 monitor. For the most part the picture is vivid and sharp. But after a few hours of use - maybe 4 or 5, I noted the screen starts to develop a very slight shake. Sort of like a shimmy. Nothing too pronounced but still annoying. My Amigas and Falcon do not exhibit this behavior so it isn't the monitor (unless its the cable?), so I am wondering if it might be something in the STe like maybe caps on the power supply? Anyone else seen this or able to venture an opinion on what might be cause? Thanks Graham
Zogging Hell
Could well be the caps, they are probably getting pretty hot after five hours which if they are iffy may well exacerbate their problems.Time to take the lid off and see if they are swollen/ leaking.
