I have two of these devices. One with Bootloader V1 and one with Bootloader V2. I successfully updated both of them. The new firmware will show the Bootloader is V2 after the firmware date if you press "H". Thank you for the update and continued support Alsp.

About different bootloaders - I plan to make bootloder update program after refactoring, and after applying that patch all devices will be similar - with BLv3 =).

Nowadays I have possibility to design pass-thru case for SDrive^2. Does anyone interested in SIO pass-thru variant of this device?

PS: I'm almost intergrate ATX support in firmware. But there are still some bugs - so I need to fix it before FW update.

sdrive max atx and respeqt are good places to look for some answers.

Just please respect the open source licenses of those projects. The code is not "free as in beer" :-)

I also would be interested since this is the only thing that keeps me from using it permanently attached to my 130XE.

Does it matter to this drive whether or not a downloaded program is single density or double density? I have been trying to run a particular program that I know is double density and the ATR will not load from my Sdrive.

The only reason I know of that some people held off on buying one is being corrected! Good show sir! Good show!

I got the SDrive2 several months ago, and it works perfectly.

I only miss the chance to could load CAS files. I work a lot backing up cassette tapes that were sold in Chile, like some educational programs and other stuff (games) with rare loaders (with counting blocks and recovery error system).

I would like save them into a SD card and load them directly into the Atari without using the RespeQT and a computer attached to it.

Thanks you!
