Does anyone know the value of a boxed one, it seems like the 8bit is the wild west of collecting compared to the 2600. I'm sure the value probably fluxes alot.

Nope but I know over the last two years there were a couple of cart only on ebay for around 20 dollars . A couple were about 30 shipped but nobody was buying them . As a guess , you could probably start it out at 40 or 50 and see if anyone buys it .

have pics? what is the quality level? is it sealed or open. Is it the black cart or grey?

The black cart version is quite common loose, boxed possibly 40-50 as what was said. But the market is soft, and in some cases non-existent as pointed out...

It's part of a collection that I am thinking about buying. If I do buy it I'll send you some pics. Gridrunner is cib I think it is in decent condition. There's one game in the collection that I really want. Don't know why the 8bit market is so soft except for maybe the more collectible titles.

Go figure you start talking about a title that you haven't seen in along time and kaboom.....the seller put that bin too cheap.

lol I bought grid runner on cartridge for 5 dollars at 2nd and charles... that's a book store/ retro shop btw
