I finally dug out my old colecovision system with the controller. The controller is half shot. My question is there any subsitute I can use instead of the Colecovision Controllers. Thank you in advance.

yes.

 

any atari 2600 joystick will work but only will have 1 fire button

i think you can use a genesis joystick too but again only 1 button.

 

you still need the keypad to start most games but you might be able to put it in the second port.

 

I would recommend you pick up a few used coleco controllers from ebay.

Your best bet (if you want to have the system upgraded)... is to send it to Yurkie. He can refurbish the controllers and add various mods to your system. PM him for a list of prices etc.

Yes thank you for everyone's replies. I tried it with an original Sega Genesis controller on Lady Bug and Mr Do works great. Also had the Coleco vision controller on the second port.
