Future of Apple II expansion peripherals?

A combined Z80+Mockingboard+EZCGI (maybe with the ability to use it as both a SoftCard and to run MSX1 ROMs, like that thing Ian Kim was doing) - that would be leet. xD

Not so sure I'd be excited about cross-platform software. Not at this stage of the game.

Z-80 and CP/M doesn't count here. That feels like it's always been there. Always been an option.

I'd also like to see IIe RAM boards that ditch the original chips in favor of large SRAM chips and a CPLD for logic.

They'd take a lot less power and produce a lot less heat.

I saw the post about that on facebook. It's an interesting looking project.

The IIgs seems to be an issue though.
