Limited Nintendo controllers + Atari 2600 rarities

Recommended Posts

I will post pretty much anywhere in the world. Postage is extra on top of prices below, but may consider deals.

NTSC Supercharger full set of 12 games for Atari 2600, all complete with box, manual and tape. Includes homemade boxes (by CPUWiz of AtariAge) for Sword of Saros and Survival Island. You also get the prototype Labyrinth on CD that AtariAge sold. Bought from John Hardie (co founded CGE etc) way in the past. I don't have an NTSC 2600 so these have not been tested. But I doubt you're actually buying them to play, right?

$925

$1000

I'm sorry but when I see $1000 price tag and untested that does not speak buy me. I understand where you are coming from but lets face it. Whether you intend to play or not a working item is worth MUCH more than a non-working one. That's just a fact and if I'm dropping grand I kind of want to know it works.

Lets change your sentence to this and see if that still warrants $1000.

These are non-working display pieces But I doubt you're actually buying them to play, right?

Well, you're entitled to your opinion here, but they were tested prior to me purchasing them (saw the photos), so it's more a case of checking them today, ten years or so on. Considering I've kept them in a warm, non humid environment, I don't see why they would have deteriorated. It didn't stop the person who bought my Supercharger demo unit considering I couldn't test it my end, and I'm not about to purchase a video modified NTSC 2600 and tape deck just to find out (it won't run on an NTSC 7800 as far as I've been told, which I DO own). If you actually want to play the games today, you get a CD player and the Stella CD instead, or a Harmony cart, a lot cheaper and easier.

There's someone in Germany in exactly the same situation, trying to sell this entire set for double the price I'm asking on eBay. If he sells his, then obviously people have money to burn and don't care if it works or not!
