Looking for Speedscript source code

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for the source code to C64 or C128 Speedscript.
I don't mean the book where I have to type it in (I already have that) or BASIC with HEX code (I already have that) published in Compute, but actual code I could assemble.

I've found this http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31819&sid=e4adfdee9d9883c285f72e67139f62e0

Feel like you're on merry go round yet? In all of the years I have been using the C-64 and C-128, I have never seen a source code for Speedscript. You might have to contact the original author on this one.....

Yeah, I already have that. Sadly... there's no source code on the disk.

Thanks anyway!

Woops! I must be tired, didn't read the "source code" part

More like treadmill, I've been trying for about 5 years and I end up visiting the same sites over and over with the same results.

I have a copy of the book and the Atari source, so it shouldn't be difficult to just type in the changes right?. I just hoped I wouldn't have to.

That's ok, I didn't even search before asking about the Atari source code and got the google found this response.

Downloaded the source disk and... I already had it? When did that happen?

Otherwise, I find that recomment or similar tool for disassembly produces a decent result from a binary. Of course you won't get logic comments about what the code does, but at least you can follow the code to some part, see what are data labels etc.
