An item on my bucket list was to write a cross-compiler that created a Forth system for our venerable TI-99.

The cross compiler is written with HSForth for DOS.  The zip file has the cross-compiler program

Here are two Forth systems that it generated: Update Jan 2024. 

 

Indirect threaded code  (ITC)

This version is the best fit for TI-99

Faster but programs get big very fast.
