Any ST/TT/Falcon users in New England(US)?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if there are any ST/TT/Falcon users in New England. How about a little gathering? My friend Frank will be returning to Scotland next month, he is a huge Atari ST enthusiast, but never met any ST users in the Boston area, so I suggested the gathering. Come on, I am sure we can get a half dozen ST fanatics together and spend an afternoon playing some games and sharing stories... :)

I'm in North Jersey, a five hour hike to Boston. I'd love to do something. Eightbit lives around here, too; though I can't speak for his interest in a gathering. Zap! is in Staten Island and I mentioned my interest in doing something a few months back.

I don't own any STs anymore, sadly, but in the past I owned a 520ST, 1040STe, Falcon and TT. I am in southern Maine.

I was young and very foolish! I even had a Jaguar with working CD attachment. Now that I have the bug again, these things are insanely expensive. I really regret selling the Falcon. I also had a good Lynx collection and a nice XEGS. So far I have only gotten myself a 7800 and Jaguar again.

Hi,

Atari ST and Falcon fan for ages !

Living in Boston...

I'll be at the @party (http://atparty-demoscene.net/) in Sommerville in June, that could be a nice place to meet ?

Else, with my neighbor we use to play a few kick off II games time to time.

I'm more of a C=/Amiga guy, but curious where you are located? I am in Milford, MA.

I lived in Milford for 2 years, also Franklin for 8 years, now Woonsocket, RI.

Wow, cool to know that others are so local! I grew up in Woonsocket.

Anyone ever have any local retro meets? Would like to take part in something.

For what it's worth.... My brother lives around Providence... My sister and I visit him once a year in the summer (she's a teacher).... We haven't decided when we're going to go this year (it will be June, July or August) but I'd be up for hooking up with some A68k users in the area (And even some A8s).

I guess I could stand a few Amiga (or even IIGS) users if we could get a small gathering in our area. That would be fun...

I'm just messing around. Got my first Commodore a few weeks ago (just waiting for a part to get it fully working, it's got everything but the 80 col right now).... so for me I have to say the war is finally over.
