Hank Rearden Posted April 9, 2017 Share Posted April 9, 2017 I picked up a couple of old sticks the other day. Upon taking them apart I find the inner ring is broken. Both had the same issue. Someone told me that it doesn't really serve a purpose and later versions don't even have that ring. I cleaned them up and tested them with some Best's Electronics gold boards from other sticks I have and they function perfectly. I think I'll buy gold boards for these as well so I'll have plenty of spares. And 2 fire button as they need to be replaced as well. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
