Out of curiosity.....how much money is schoolgirlinashortdress paying you to derail this threads purpose?

"Schoolgirlinshortdress" ? Not trying to pry into your sordid 'personal business', but that just sounds weird and creepy. Have you appeared on Chris Hansen's program?

Also, this thread has no purpose, other than bellyaching and negativity.

Many of us collectors here at AA privately keep each other informed about sellers who can be downright horrible to deal with.

If you and others wish to have the fun of discovering this stuff on your own be my guest.

You will be definitely in for 'good times'

I was 'dubious' a month ago, now even more so that he added to this thread.

schoolgirlinashortdress definitely flips purchases, but they have the right to do so, IMO. I've sold rare items to them, and they pay promptly without any hassles. Works for me, even if I know the item is going to be flipped. I'm pretty confident in my own judgment of values, so if they think they can make a meaningful profit flipping from me, they are welcome to try.

Sometimes selling on AA is not worth it to me, with all of the haggling, changing minds, etc. of nervous buyers. All of my transactions with schoolgirlinashortdress have been smooth and professional.

Of course there is nothing wrong with it, I used to do it all the time on ebay too, but that was 10 years ago or so and not 10x market value either.

If schoolgirl was just flipping stuff and even with the 10x value prices, then I would agree they have the right to do so. Legally of course but they would never have my respect and they would still belong on a list like this.

Because we still have the right as buyers and collectors to not buy or sell to people like him and help feed this stupidity that can effect the market easily on rare items. And we should want to help each other out as a community and call them out.

What puts schoolgirl in a class of his own are these things I can confirm 1st and 2nd hand:

Doing charge backs on purchases he makes.

Pairing game items from 1 system with games for another to make 'fake' complete items and trying to pass them off as cib and still asking the 3 to 10x values.

Contacting ebay buyers after auctions and trying to get them to sell or trade their winnings.

Contacting sellers after auctions end and offering them more to cancel the sale and sell to him.

Contacting sellers before the auction end on rare items and offering them what seems like a good price to end early when in reality it's worth much more if it continues.

Taking horribe advantage of people trying to sell their past away relatives collections.

Trying to confuse people if he is in fact a guy or a girl named Ana???? I don't get this one....he is in fact a 'guy'.

But sure keep saying he and these others like him 'have the right' to do their reselling bullshit.

There is in fact all kinds of wonderfully horrible stuff people can legally do in this country.

That doesn't make it respectable and it doesn't stop them from being a-holes for doing it and it doesn't mean they shouldn't be called out for it, so anyone who wants can choose to deal or not deal with them.

I am completely unapologetic for that regardless of what anyone wants to think of me for it....or call me. Bitter, a belly acher, negative, pathetic, unhealthy, unadjusted, a bitcher, a whiner, sniveler, angry, miserable, creepy, weird...whatever.

schoolgirl once bought an item from me, waited until the item was shipped and in the system, then relisted the item at a higher price -- using the same photos I had used in my listing.

Did it bother me? Sure, for about five minutes. But it just wasn't worth my time to make a big deal out of it. This stuff is just a hobby to me. Now I have a funny story that amuses me whenever I remember it.

Glad your dealings with him have worked out.

Seems like your deal with him was pretty straightforward. Had he done a charge back on you or some of his other shenanigans it might be less amusing to you.

Also everyone keeps saying this is just a hobby. Sure it is...I don't see how that makes it OK or any better to pull this shit on people. Anyway, to each his own, I for 1 am happy when other collectors communicate there experience with others be it bad or good ;)

Once I start selling off my collection (which may be sooner rather than later) there will be several folks that I will not sell to no matter what. Schoolgirl & happiest & johnsgirl2 being the primaries. I'd rather take a loss than see it get to their hands. Hell, I'd rather see it burn. I have their addresses so even if they try to buy under a different name I'll know.

This is a privately owned forum, you do not have "free speech" here. Free speech is when the government impinges on your speech. This forum is very lightly moderated relative to many forums on the internet, or Facebook, or anywhere else you feel you have "free speech". Go take your attitude elsewhere.

As long as people are honest and not deceiving I see no problem with what they do. Schoolgirl on the other hand goes way beyond simple flipping. His listings are quite often very deceiving and is worded in a way to make buyers think they are getting something other than what he is selling.

If people want to corner a market and buy all the frogger 2 carts they can, well that is their option and everybody complaining should have outbid them (him) instead of sitting back complaining about it.

People do this all the time. As far as NES sealed goes RareBucky flips sealed nes all the time (or at least he use to). A few years back I sold my Sealed Super Spy Hunter and RareBucky won it. I thought about cancelling for about 3 seconds lol. Then I said owell everyone had a chance to buy it and he bid the most. For months afterword's I had multiple people tell me they wish they had bid more.

I still kick myself for not buying wild arms alter code F back when it was $30. Owell. If you know something is going to be flipped for more or someone is cornering the market, don't sit back and let them if you really want that item. If people allow a reseller to pay more than them for something they actually want, that is a problem!

Not to completely turn this valuable and useful thread into one exclusively against that leech Schoolgirlinashortdress, but I can verify from my own experiences the above mentioned stunts, and add a few more. He/she/it is more than simply a juicer. "She" actively hoards multiple copies of rarer games that would be much more appreciated by true collectors and gamers, and routinely and intentionally bids up Ebay listings of rarer games even with no intention of winning them. Any listing of a rare US game for a pre-NES system has a high chance of being bid up by this wretch, and being promptly relisted at a much higher sum should it be won.

This parasite also stalks Ebay for decent BINs to buy and relist, and has been known to message sellers of decent BINs that were missed out on to try and deny other lucky collectors fair deals. The same has been tried for active auctions, sometimes to awful effect. For example, "her" attempts to scuttle the auction for the RCA Studio II Bingo copy nearly cost all of us the chance to see it properly preserved and dumped.

In short (hah), her juicing, and that of the others mentioned in this thread, actively harms the community of real collectors and gamers by impeding our own collecting efforts. This thread serves the very valuable purpose of allowing the community to know who not to sell to, as most all of us actually do care about this hobby (and each other) as much more than a source of quick cash.

This thread is just plain wrong. 'juicing' or whatever dumb term you come up with is called 'supply and demand'. if I sell $10,000 worth of video games/systems to a store chain for $3500 and they resell them for $8000, then what's wrong with that? it's a win-win situation. I sold a bunch of stuff at once verses waiting a few years to sell at higher prices. They got a bunch of stuff they have to inventory, hold on to, market and sell. This is how captialism works. making a list just makes you libel for damages if someone gets pissed off at you. if you think it's to high, then don't buy it. Simple as that.

(and yeah, I used to flip a lot of games. I'd buy up old inventories of stores, catalogue them and sell them to flea markets the next week. So I'd pay 5 CENTS for Sega Genesis games and resell them for $1 each. I just had the contacts. I knew where to get them. I paid money up front. I took the risk. I made money. Once a flea market guy would say he'd buy all the Dreamcast games I could get. I hit up 2 store in other cities and spent like $4000. When I took it to him a few days later, he only wanted 3 tiles out of hundreds. I got screwed. I did sell them to someone else as I always do, BUT that $4000 was tied up for a couple of months. I couldn't buy anything with that money until I got rid of the inventory. That's a risk, but it's buy low and sell high. that's how you make money. This is the very definition of capitalism.)

Jagamer aka kevincal on Ebay. I sold him a Skunkboard for $250- the same price I had paid for it when I had purchased it from another AA member. I'm not the profiteering sort, unlike kevincal, who promptly listed it on Ebay for $600. He's a total juicer.

Now, he is a better salesman than you. You just suck. If you could not get $600 and he could, then more power to him. He could just as easily only got $100 for it and took a loss. He bought it and it's his to do what he want to do with. He took a risk and it paid off. you are just whinning like a baby because you didn't sell it for $600.

Kevin, is that you?

I'm amazed you'd even take the time to post the above, but if you really think my earlier post was simply a case of butthurt over theoretical lost revenues you have it all wrong. I hope for your sake you'll also realize that most of us here aren't all about money, and look dimly upon those who try to profit off of us without adding any value. The type of juicing we're talking about is crass and unseemly, and not actually profitable in the long run if it causes sellers to refuse to sell anything to the juicer in question. As you don't seem to have understood that after (presumably) having read this thread, let me rephrase the above: juicers should not sh!t where they eat and expect to still be able to eat there. They end up poisoning their own drinking well. Artificially inflating prices harms honest collectors AND juicers all the same in the long run.

Oh, and by the way, it's spelled "whining".

Who's Kevin????

So basically if you live in a socialist country say like ARrrrrrgentina, then making a profit is bad. But for the rest of us that live in capitalism that is how it works. If you are dumb enough to sell a $100 game that is worth $600 then you are dumb enough to only have $100 in your pocket. its like watching antiques roadshow. Someone buys a painting for $10 at a garage sale and just finds out that it's worth $100,000 and you are the guy at home that just realized you should have done a little research before you sold the painting.

(this is a general message aimed at everyone on the planet)

Are sure you don't intend to reference Venezuela? No matter, though. Suffice it to say, you won't ever have to worry about doing business with me. I truly do appreciate the good and unexpected chuckles you've provided...

Yeah Biff thanks for adding yourself to the list. Be great if other juicers would just come and list themselves here too.

Just watched 1 of your YouTube videos Biff and you look like an even a bigger twat then I had imagined.

:woozy:

OH, NO! A guy that I never met nor will I ever met thinks I'm a Twat and posted it on social media. Oh no! I'm so hurt.

OH, NO! If you don't watch my videos then I'll go from making $0 to making $0 from them. Oh no! What will I do now?

OH, NO! When I tell people on street that Stupidus from AtarAge forems doesn't like me, I'm sure every one of them will care even less than I do..

(OMG, where do you guys come from?)
