JustinMSalvato #1 Posted April 17, 2017 Then check out this video. On a side note, I am terrible at this game. I may get past the first board, but that's it...
mr_me #2 Posted April 17, 2017 Good video. Where I was Burgertime arcade seemed pretty rare; I only saw it at Canada's Wonderland. Don't know who distributed it in Canada; Midway or DataEast. I did have the Intellivision version. I found the later screens to be annoyingly puzzle-like and difficult. It seemed like the only way to solve them was to load up on peppers. So like the video says don't waste peppers you'll need lots of them to finish some screens. It's also best not to kill any enemies. I try to keep them grouped together but once they die they spread out again. I read that the Intellivision TV commercials helped popularise the arcade game; don't know if that is true.
mr_me #3 Posted April 17, 2017 I think Pizzatime was a concept developed at Mattel Electronics France (Nice Ideas). The Intellivision version might have been completed but not released. They may have worked on a Colecovision version. http://www.gamotek.fr/nice-ideas-storyboards-3/
mr.bill #4 Posted April 17, 2017 people are working on a multi deco board. I actually have an early version of the multi deco. it eliminates the loading off cassette and the need for the dongles. The new multi deco will be interesting in that recently 2 very rare decos were found that used expansion boards. If they add the new games, it will be cool.

Nebulon #10 Posted May 5, 2017 Cool vid. The guy with the coins was the coin-op vendor. Pretty smart too, since he asked you what games you like (It would be in his interest to find out what the kids think are good games). And as you mentioned, the arcade gets some of the money and the vendor also gets a cut of the money). In fact, he may have been a "good fella'" -- if you know what I mean. Hey, he could have made you an offer you couldn't refuse (if you know what I mean). Thanks for the tip about the ingredients not being able to reverse their directions. I'll add that to my strategy. Great game. Have you tried the ColecoVision version? It's really tightly programmed. For re-releases and sequels, I seem to recall another one for the PC that came out in the early 2000s I think. You could choose to either play a male or female chef. It was pretty good, but still not as good as the arcade original.

I have played the ColecoVision version, but to be clear, I made the video but the voice, the story teller, is actually The Retroist I sound nothing like that LOL He always tells a story before going into the subject matter. It really is hard to beat the arcade version. Simple graphics but very effective gameplay. i.e. addictive
