KB8KAC is an Amateur Radio callsign. Bruce is his middle name.

Since it does not show up in the photos, I'm guessing that's the way he signed the message, it just appears to be a piece of software.

I would guess it is a database of his HAM radio sessions. Maybe something he custom wrote, like a log program, etc.

Haha, I see misunderstanding here. "Kb8kac Bruce" was at the bottom of the cartridge list (without a blank line to separate it), not as a cartridge or software but just as the signature of the post. Opry99er thought is was some new program and got really excited. ;-) So Bruce, you now need to write the "Kb8kac Bruce" application. ;-)

Ahhhh.... okay. :)

Funny. :D

It is sad whenever someone leaves our hobby, but I hope you get a good price for your wares.

And if you DO ever write a new HAMSoft program for the TI, let us know. :)

Is he leaving? Yes, sad if he is. I'm kind of hoping with the number of redundant systems a lot of us have here, that he's just clearing the decks for new stuff.

One doesn't part with a FR99 if one plans to stick with it. ;)

I hope I am wrong.

Again, fine setup you have there, friend.

You're probably right... unless you plan on getting a FinalGROM 99!

thanks actually I had planned on getting a 32 meg memory but not able to do the work myself.

I would be willing to swap the carts towards a 32 meg upgrade and other stuff....
