Thank You very much. Deimos is function, I finish original version game. You need this code table.

http://www.mobygames.com/game/atari-8-bit/deimos/cover-art/gameCoverId,285503/

Hi Solaris104,

did you finish with my crack or some other version?

I am asking because after all these messages I doubted that it would work till the end. The crack is just a 1-byte change which does not stand any checksum verification at all.

Meanwhile I had prepared a crack which hides itself completely after fooling the protection. I will relase it if needed.

I was bored and typed in the codes.

Perhaps some volunteer can proof-read my typing.

@ Fred_M - Chips die je niet kunt eten....

The recordings took place at the AMC of Amsterdam, top floor. There was a professional recording studio. I was one of the guests showing his creation. Their programs were subsequently aired on radio, and afterwards, these recordings could be loaded by the Atari recorder aka cassette drive.

Aired by Vara....

Unfortunately there are no recordings left of these episodes on the internet. Well... somewhere I still do have a copy left on Philips 2000 format, which i won't release :)

Nice topic, though !

Yes I listened as a kid to those broadcasts too. I even recorded some software. The television programmes are still available at the Beeld en Geluid institute. The program was a joint venture between VARA and AVRO ;)

I am happy that I found 3 cassettes tapes of Chips die je niet kunt eten. I have uploaded the programs of the two data cassettes here. The other cassette tapes contains some episodes. If you want me to, I can convert them for you ;)

The intro of the TV program is on youtube: https://youtu.be/rqdlPSwGpXg and some background info: http://www.vormvanvermaak.nl/chips-die-je-niet-kunt-eten/

I have uploaded more rare (Dutch) software in the topic at Atari Sector: http://atari.boards.net/thread/2145/uploads-software-collection-atarimuseum-nl

I have found the quite rare release of Boulder Dash by Dutch company Aackosoft. The game is (ofcourse) the same as the other versions out there, although the loader seems to be slightly different. So these files are probably only of interest to the various preservation projects out there.

The wav-file of this dump is available at Wetransfer (no account needed), but will be only available for one week. I have attached the cas-file in this post.

Another 2 tapes which are not present (yet) in any preservation project. Courbois Cassettes 603 and 604.

Courbois was a very small "shady" company in The Netherlands in the mid eighties. They sold their software only at computer shows and meetings. The packaging is very home made. The basic games on the tapes are mostly type in listings from international magazines (Germany, UK, US). The owner of the company translated them in Dutch and put his own copyright on them. I guess in those days very few people knew these programs were copied from international sources.

The games on these tapes are not very good, but these tapes are quite rare. Most people threw them away....

I have uploaded the original wav-files to wetransfer (free service, no account needed). They are available for 1 week only. You can download them here: https://we.tl/t-BDJvXQJeNE

Attached to this post are the 2 cas-files. All games are in basic, so you need to CLOAD the games.

Enjoy!

Some new dumps.

First is Ghost Encounters by JV Software. This tape is already out there, but I saw on Atarimania that the original tape is missing and it is also not available at a8preservation.

Ghost_encounters.cas

Boot with OPTION (Basic disabled).

The original wav-file can be downloaded from Wetransfer and is available for 1 week: https://we.tl/t-h5k4ks7Pod

Next up is Home Financial Management (thanks @F#READY!). I always thought that this one was only released in the US but an European (Pal) version does exist! The inlay does not state "NTSC only" and the serial number ends with a "P" in stead of a "N".

The cas-file must be loaded with OS-B and the Basic cartridge must be present. Boot with Basic.

hfmp_a.cas Side A is the Data File Setup program

hfmp_b.cas Side B is the Main Program and includes Sample Data.

The original wav-files can be downloaded from Wetransfer and are available for 1 week: https://we.tl/t-5psbCgim4g

And last but not least: Smart Art by PF Software. This was a British mail order company, so this software is VERY rare.

Smart_Art_complete_side.cas This is the complete side A with 2 Basic programs: Main Program and Display Program (with demo picture)

Smart_Art_program.cas This is the Main program only

Smart_Art_Display_Prog.cas This is the Display Program (with demo picture) only.

All cass-files need to be loaded with CLOAD.

The original wav-file can be downloaded from Wetransfer and is available for 1 week: https://we.tl/t-4XnRcoZuQr
