PizzaChef
A couple years ago I came across a Atari 2600 prototype game by Zimag named Pizza Chef. I rather enjoy this game even if the sound effects are annoying. I'm currently now working on reproduction box art and need suggestions on what needs to be put in the illustration box. My current idea is just a chef spinning pizza dough yet I don't think that would fit well with Zimag's theme. This is what I have so far, work still needs to be done on the logo and clearing up text. hizzy
i would look for some silly art. Zimag's cart was cartoony and simple. Great repro box!!

It was cartoony yet detailed at the same time.
PizzaChef
UPDATE: This is an idea... I'm probably not going to go through with it though. Too simple and yeah no. Edited May 1, 2017 by PizzaChef
Rom Hunter
UPDATE: This is an idea... I'm probably not going to go through with it though. Too simple and yeah no. Looks more like an Epyx box to me now. What about one of these? https://www.shutterstock.com/nl/g/mollicart?searchterm=chefkok Or this one (with a more colorful background)? https://www.123rf.com/photo_16477026_a-happy-italian-pizza-chef-doing-an-okay-gesture-and-holding-a-tasty-pizza.html?fromid=UmtQeFFJK0NTUzBMdzRELzRYaEZVQT09 Also, I would make a different mockup screenshot, based on an actual game screen. This one was a designer's sketch taken from the ZiMAG catalog. Edited May 1, 2017 by Rom Hunter

Supergun
Directed to Rom Hunter: Do you have anything at all (art related) on Pizza Chef in the database? Perhaps a catalog entry, an artists conception, early advertising, consumer electronics show flyer, etc.?

PizzaChef
It it is vector it is totally scalable without losing quality. true yet I noticed Zimag games always had on point shading and detail but keeping the cartoon feel...
Rom Hunter
That was the idea. Every other Zimag game used a designers sketch. Just compare Dishasters box with the catalog. Yes, all are mock-up screenshots. But the one on the back of your box (from the catalog) looks more like a map instead of a screenshot.
