+atari2600land #1 Posted May 1, 2017 So I was looking at the back of my Coleco controller. It says "Coleco" and then under that it says "MADE IN TAIWAN (Z)." the Z is in a circle, like the copyright logo, only it's a Z. Does anyone know what this means? Google was of no help. I tried (Z) and "Z in a circle," none of which had answers.
NIAD #2 Posted May 2, 2017 Not uncommon at all as the more involved you get with the CV, the more you will notice "Made in Taiwan" on items manufactured earlier on in the CV's existence. There were cartridge labels printed in Taiwan as well.
+atari2600land #3 Posted May 2, 2017 Yes, but what does the Z in a circle mean?
NIAD #4 Posted May 2, 2017 It must be a copyright/trademark symbol. You would have to research that thru some sites that deal with Taiwanese business laws.
