Neo Geo pocket color sound issues

Hi everyone. My ngpc is acting up. The sound is barely audible. If I plus in headphones, it's fine. Any idea what the problem is and how to fix? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Speaker is dying of old age, or you have an issue on the connection of the speaker or in the trace between there and the source. Not sure if they sell replacement speakers online, but if they do, and they're anything like in some Gameboy models, they're almost like oversized fat watch batteries you can just drop into a spot. Might be worth looking into.
