Doug Plummer
I have a ti-99 cib, I would be willing to trade for one of the controllers. If it's in working condition. I have the 5200 and 2 bad controllers. So I can't play any of my games Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

eightbit
You should check the bottom and see if the serial number sticker has an asterisk. If so it means it was "fixed" by Atari to allow use of the 5200-2600 adapter. Might drive the sale a bit. Otherwise most four port units cannot use one of those adapters without modification. Also, I will add that while people seem to stear clear of the four port due to the odd power going through the rf, I will say from personal experience that the RF picture on the four port model is much clearer than the two port model. Maybe becuase the rf connector is getting power? I have no idea, but the RF signal was far superior and more close to composite. I always preferred playing my 5200 games on the four port for that reason.
+-^CrossBow^-
Don't think I've ever seen a 4 port with the textured plastic before? I own two 4 port units and they both have the smooth glossy plastic trim on them.
