Clean audio connection for F18A owners

Recommended Posts

I have been using the usual five pin DIN to a/v composite cable to drive the audio (and leaving the video portion dangling) as I use the F18A for video. I was also using a series of adapters to get the connection to a pair of stereo PC speakers (but get mono out of both speakers obviously). I wanted a cleaner connection for this so I purchased this:

It works! But, of course as it is a stereo connection only one speaker is outputting the sound. So, I also purchased this:

I should be able to plug this little dongle into the cable and convert the sound to dual mono....which should do the trick.

I figured I'd share this as it is a nice clean alternative to using PC speakers and making it look legit :)
