hizzy
Has anyone assembled in book form a collection of all 2600 game instructions? I know instructions are available online, but it would be cool to have something physical to flip through while playing games.

Thomas Jentzsch
Search for the "Atari Manual Tome" (V1.51). That would be a good start.

BassGuitari
The closest thing I have is binders of manuals in clear plastic binder sheets. Still have to take them out to actually read them, but it's neat to flip through and admire the manual covers and artwork. One giant manual compendium would be absolute tits, though. Even just a big index of Game Select matrices and difficulty switch settings would be very useful.
Swami
The the original artwork, if it were two manual pages to a page, it could be kept under 2000 pages, but would probably be better for durability to split it into 4 volumes. Color, or would B&W suffice?
+Spriggy
I use an old 7" Asus Nexus 7 tablet, that sits on the shelves with my carts. I use it like a book, selecting the relevant pdf game manual when I need it. I even have one of those wallet covers, so you have the physical feeling of "opening" the tablet to read the manual(s).
hizzy
I would love to take on this project! This is how I'm picturing it: Manuals divided by company Art from the OG manuals Notes about easter eggs?? Color Should the pages be bigger than the OG manuals, or should this be digest size? Let me know what you think!
