What is the atari jaguar launch cd?

Is it just jaguar game commercials and/or rolling demos, or is it a fantastic music and video collage? Tried searching youtube but didn't get any hits.

It was an item at best electronics

It's either the first black one in the photo on the page your posted or the one with the eyes I think....the one with the eyes iirc.

Hm the description you provided sounds like it is just an audio recording, but the description from best electronics openly talks about it being an audio and visual cd to display the capabilities of the jag cd. That makes it sound like a cinepak video or executable to launch some demos...

I guess the vlm pulsing to an audio cd would have been a pretty cool visual demonstration of the jags capabilities

There were two I believe. One with just audio and the other with Cinepak clips (Jaws, Star Wars, Atari Jag ads maybe). I don't think I own either in my collection of Jag stuff so I'm relying on very hazy memories of what was written in AEO at the time, as well as usenet descriptions....and AA too apparently

If memory serves me correct, the Jaguar one with the eyes is the audio only disc. The other black one (or normal silver looking one) is this "Big Disc".
