Someone should try and track this HardWork guy down and see what he's up to these days. And interview with him about his prior goals with Team Savage making 2600 games and his reaction to the phenomenon he started which has grown to epic proportions on this site and beyond.

I was waiting until the annual New Year's Day bump.

It's interesting to note that, over the last few months, we have seen the emergence of a true "spiritual successor" of the Knight Rider 2600 project within the hardware space: what Knight Rider 2600 is to homebrew games, the Retro VGS is to game consoles. Maybe good old HardWork was just ahead of his time: if he were "launching" this project now, he'd surely take it to Indiegogo, complete with a sizzle reel and spinning 3D renders of his Knight Rider controller. His "design documents" (such that they were) are more detailed than anything the RVGS team was putting out at the start of their campaign.
