Gregory DG #1 Posted May 16, 2003 Is there a being on this planet that doesn't have at least one copy of E.T.? Good God!
Brad2600 #2 Posted May 16, 2003 I have a copy. You thinking of starting an E.T Redistribution program? Distribute E.T to those who don't have at least one copy? LOL!
snorlaxnut #3 Posted May 16, 2003 Used to have a copy 12 years ago, but now I don't. I don't think I want another copy again.
Gregory DG #4 Posted May 16, 2003 I have a copy. You thinking of starting an E.T Redistribution program? Distribute E.T to those who don't have at least one copy? LOL! Heh... It just seems that EVERY Atari auction has at least one copy of E.T. I thought Atari dumped/crushed the damn things in the desert??
Brad2600 #5 Posted May 16, 2003 I believe the cartridges reanimated themselves like a T-1000 and came back to life in Atari auctions! They live!!!!
DeV0 #6 Posted May 16, 2003 I've been collecting for a while and i don't have a copy of ET, Never seen one in the wild either. Im guessing the retail outlets where probably informed as to how sucky it was before the official australian PAL release.
moycon #7 Posted May 16, 2003 I think I have one copy....or maybe 20 I'd have to check.
liquid_sky #8 Posted May 16, 2003 amazingly, i dont have one. actually, i dont know if that is good or bad.
Brad2600 #9 Posted May 16, 2003 That is most likely good..as the game plays like crap. But I enjoyed it as a kid..didn't know any better...LOL!
+Sauron #10 Posted May 16, 2003 Chalk me up to being yet another who has never owned E.T. I used to want it as a kid, until I played it. However, even now I've still managed to not get a copy. One of these days I probably should, just as an eternal reminder of how crappy games can actually be.
BoOchan! #11 Posted May 16, 2003 IMO, E.T is quite rare in Australia, so I don;t ahve a copy and I've never seen one.
NE146 #12 Posted May 16, 2003 I got one. And I'm sure my parents forked out close to $40 for it
FelixtheGamer #13 Posted May 16, 2003 I have one, but I don't know why.

joeybastard #15 Posted May 16, 2003 I don't. Never had it as a kid because I played it at a friends and hated it. I come across it at a store I go to a lot but I have no desire to own it.
Witchfynde #16 Posted May 16, 2003 i dont have one. neither have i ever touched one or seen one. i would love to get e.t. tough anybody that wants to give me e.t? I never had a copy of it personally, but when I bought my 7800 from a friend years ago that was in there. But I donated it to Peeknpoke though, and if it wasn't for that, I'd gladly send my copy to you
Inky #17 Posted May 16, 2003 Personally I don't think ET is all that bad, and unlocking the eastereggs is more fun than the original game..
+-^CrossBow^- #18 Posted May 16, 2003 I do have a copy of it. thankfully it only cost me like a $1 or something from a consignment store years ago in the late 80s. That same store was where I picked up SQ: FW. They also had EW but stupid me thought that FW looked more cool. Now, I just have that cart and the instructions...and that is enough for me...ugh. Happy_Dude #19 Posted May 16, 2003 I'v been E.T free since 1983
Voch #20 Posted May 16, 2003 I have it in boxed with manual. Must've been included with one of the 2600's that my friends gave me. Voch
tkarner #21 Posted May 16, 2003 I never had ET until recently. I came across some catridges at a thrift shop, about 30. They wanted $3.50 each or $25 if I took the whole lot off their hands. So I took the whole lot and ET was hidden in there. On the plus side there were several good finds in there to counter the disappointment of becoming an ET owner (Nexar, Fast Food, Space Jockey, Commando Raid, Pitfall...). So really I was tricked into getting ET!

PaulEMoz #23 Posted May 16, 2003 I....don't think E.T.........is that bad.......... Actually, it's one of the first games we're reviewing on my up and coming website, so we'll see whether I'll be the only one that doesn't hate it.... EDIT: I meant "doesn't hate it", not "doesn't like it"....
NE146 #24 Posted May 16, 2003 so we'll see whether I'll be the only one that doesn't like it.... Actually I and several others here have stated many times that there are far worse 2600 games than E.T. And that it's actually a pretty good 2600 game as far as 2600 explore/adventure games go
MegaManFan #25 Posted May 16, 2003 If it weren't for the damn holes you fall in, it'd probably be a GREAT game.
