New Atari Console that Ataribox?

Anybody want to do a group email thing to Atari?

What does that even mean? Like a petition or something? Email is easily ignored. Better to buy up all their stock (pennies!) and go activist-investor on them.

I'd been hoping to at least send an email to the admin contact, or set up a call with Jack Tramiel three-wayed onto their contact number.

That would be fun! Especially since Jack has been dead for almost six years.

Not sure it's relevant since there's still no Ataribox, and it's highly questionable if ol' Fraggle Mac is involved with it at all anymore, but thought it worth mentioning the comments section on the gameband is getting increasingly ugly. More calls for refunds, complaints of missed updates, nothing updates or MIA devs, and apologists working overtime. If FM wasn't fired outright from the box project, this certainly doesn't bode well.

It is perhaps the greatest gastronomic invention since lickable wallpaper. Hunger, beware - your end is near!

Perhaps lickable Atari carts? Unlike the Switch which uses Bitrex® on their games, people can enjoy licking off flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, and bubble gum on their carts. And even taco flavor.

I am going to mail Atari. They will write back... hmmm I am wondering if we should set up a Atari postbox where us old geezers can write to on old warantty cards and ask Atari questions and then wait 3 months for an answer.

Kinda like north pole mail but for dorks?

I am seriously considering showing up at Atari and ask them WTF ? I might even get escorted to leave by security. I don't live far away and just a little bit off the path of my commute.

If any one lives near by or is in NYC for vacation ... you can stop by Atari !

Listening to Bachman-Turner Overdrive's "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet".

Seems oddly appropriate.

How so? We have seen plenty of nothing.

Maybe the song should be titled "You've Seen Exactly Nothin' Yet"?

Although the "Yet" implies we might actually see something at some point. Or not see nothing at some point. So the "Yet" should be left off.

The point being, not having yet seen anything.

At any rate, certainly more apropos than "Takin' Care of Business".

The "yet" could be interpreted as sarcastic so "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" is appropriate.

Somehow I think this song fits this thread:

Just the Pong table, from one of their partners.

It's expensive to have a booth at CES. If Atari doesn't have the cash to make the Ataribox, they don't have money to spare on real meatspace marketing.

It would also be tough to show up having nothing more to show than what you had this time last year. CES demos are supposed to be fresh concepts, not a status check on troubled efforts.

So far everyone who has emailed Atari or Ataribox has had only spam or nothing returned. I doubt they care or even read these

That is incorrect. I have emailed various people at Atari and received responses on several occasions. Depending on who you write- and what the questions are of course.

Never did get a response on the extended January joke I emailed them in drunk frustration however. ;)

Yes, but will they still respond if you dump your penny stocks?
