JBerel
Urgent Release May 16, 2019 1:27pm San Francisco, California New AtariVCS Operating System Leaked to Internet Ahead of Imminent Release A team of research scientists working at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) near Geneva today announced that they successfully hacked into the highly secure and secretive engineering, design, and research facilities of Atari recently. Among other key technologies discovered were a few complete kernels for the upcoming AtariVCS gaming and streaming system. In less than 72 hours, researchers discovered the gravity of what they stumbled upon and reverse engineered the complex code into a fully functional emulation that can run on ordinary computer technology commonplace today. When asked how they were able to accomplish such a feat, lead researcher Hanshi Omouru of Taiwan University said, "It really turned out to be a very graceful operating system, far ahead of its time. The efficiency and intuitive nature of what they constructed at their facilities made converting it to regular everyday desktop technology a breeze. It's like they have some kind of magic in their code." Researchers continue to analyse the extensive amount of raw data retrieved from Atari's highly advanced development lab, but they have made some of their first discoveries available for public view. No word yet on pending legal or military action in light of this sensational leak of proprietary data. +KaeruYojimbo
At this rate, if the VCS does finally get released Retro Gamer will be able to do a feature story on it because it will be older than anything else in the magazine.

OCAT
If only Mike Kennedy hadn't sold off his retro magazine. He could have cornered that market. Yup I agree %100, that man and Atari could write many articles about fake sheet that does not exist, imagine that... Mike selling magazines full of fake articles about the Atacobox. I wonder what a printed interview would contain or how it would be conducted. Mike: Hello, its nice to have you here today Atari Atari: Thanks for having us Mike: as you know, we here at REtro thrive on new additions to old school gzming, so tell us about the Atari Prototype. Atari: Yes well we will tell you everything about it and the big developments, we wish we could show it to you but unfortunately our chief engineer advised against showing off too much at this stage Mike: Yes absolutely as you know I was the creator of the Coleco Chamelean and I know a thing or two about keeping trade secrets... heheh...

+Nathan Strum
Why is there a fork in the picture? The fork is there to stab people in the hand who try to touch your tacos.
