Is it a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma?

This, right here, is why Mike Kennedy got as far as he did.

the Ataribox project is alive and well, there is nothing to say that Feargal Mac Conuladh is fired or otherwise.
Ataribox will be launched with Indigogo as planned but in 2018
people do not believe in the product but nobody knows what it really is
it is not a video game console only but a connected object platform
we will see that in 2018 but I believe a lot in Ataribox

Because, one button joystick, simple as that!

Would be happy to see the project go through, even if it is a toaster :)

Time will tell about the rest. I closed hat chapter years ago and have been moving forward ever since. This thread confirmed to me that Mr F has not moved an inch.

My thoughts are that those who dwell in past glories will never see present failures. Much less anticipate future mistakes.

Difficult to know the connection between Feargal and our newest contributor, but his input does correspond with the only reasonable explanation for having 3 different start up companies in as many years. Dodging creditors is the biggest reason to dissolve one business entity in favor of a new one.

Those 3 companies are always backed by the same people and have the same core enployees. Yet it is legally hard to prove it so that their debts carry on.

If I may ask, why is your signature containing a link to their last kickstarter? And how is that going? Launched in September?

You know they had the design and everything already months before he kickstarter campaign ever started? They started working on it while leeching of the Minecraft product sales (and presales which then got stuck as sheikh stock at distributor's warehouses)

i've got the gameband project comments linked in my sig because that is an excellent post-crowd fund launch indicator of the pre-launch Atari box project credibility. They promoted that much the same way, then fail to provide timely updates while failing miserably in the development chain. Backers' reactions on that project will tell the story of the next. It's a cautionary tale based on reality rather than spin or opinion.

A taco toaster could be the next product Atari could make since the one above is the only one in existence (I think). If Atari could make one a bit cheaper, under $54, then forget the Speaker Hat. They'll sell a lot more Ataco Toasters.

(Oh, and it can be connected to a computer.)

An internet-connected toaster would allow us to send our grandparents pictures on toast. We can call them Toast-o-Grams.

It could also email or text us when our toast is done. It's almost 2018. Who has time to just wait for toast?

Bonus points for an app that lets us set how brown we want it.

Extra bonus points for RGB lighting.

I want all of my SMS messages to appear on toast. It's 2018, after all. Reading them on a phone's screen is so 1993.

Hmm...a taco/regular toaster and a 2600 in one?

Whatever happened to that waffle iron and Genesis?

This thread was deleted from Ataribox's subreddit. I see HistorianCM is one of the moderators, can he tell us why?

I'll bet it's because of the misspelling...Somehow they spelled, "This looks Super Awesome, I can't wait to play!" as "Screw Ataribox and their bullshit."

I thought the Historian bowed out of the whole Ataribox shenanigan and went with that other project? :ponder:
