The Wikipedia entry could probably use a "criticism" section, detailing their persistent censorship on social media, the details of their embarrassing flap with The Register, the lawsuit brought by Feargal Mac, the fact that it's still in the "prototype" phase and hasn't yet been demonstrated on real hardware, and likely more.

Talk it up...

I just might. At the very least, it deserves an "unverified claims" section, as nearly every mockup and demo has been discredited and qualified with "for illustration purposes only." As another example, I don't believe for an instant that Rob Wyatt "created" a perfect Atari 2600 emulator.

Hey, let's be fair here.  Somebody had to download a source archive, unzip it, and type `make`.

On a related note: I wonder if he pulls his hands out to type, or if he uses a Stephen Hawking input device for that.

You don't have to love the Amico to know this is asinineScreenshot_20190923-201841_Facebook.thumb.jpg.26882413d250b3e9e9c546632681248b.jpg.Other than the Mystique type games, wouldn't all Atari games be "G rated"?

Now the ever believers are forgetting what that Science class taught us about equinoxes. Come on Andy stop moving the goalpost. It is officially Fall. Oh and even if it wasn't all they've done is post a link to the main page.

I think that Blakely & Atari SA need this helpful reminder:

As whatever they're on is some powerful, reality-altering stuff

And now I'm blocked from the VCS's Twitter page, apparently for using their own quote on the "caption this" picture.

One does wonder if this kind of scorched earth policy doesn't signify the beginning of some kind of end, either a final push toward release or the catastrophic implosion.

I love how these ass clowns are so on top of things.

First the announcements were coming any time now.

Then the announcements were coming "later this summer."

Then they're "cooking up" another announcement as we speak.

Now it's their "end of summer" announcements are coming.

Did all of their sycophantic followers completely forget they are due "substantive and quality updates at least once a month?"

If things were announced through Puerto Rico, it'd still be a hell of a lot faster than #NotMyAtari 's Public Relations firm.

(The comment is in relation to the distance to Puerto Rico and the red tape having to ship things there.  My employer deals with it on a daily basis)
