classicgamer_27330
Just curious to see who all is into this. I've messed around with the turtle and doing some drawings and using the music.bin on the utilities disk
neglectoru
Apple Logo was my first programming language, many years ago. I did the typical turtle geometry stuff, but moved on to core computer science stuff with the help of a teacher. I never dabbled with music on the Apple. Since the machine could do little more than beep, I'd be curious what it sounds like. If my school had a utilities disk, I never saw it...
majestyx
I vaguely remember using Logo a few times, but it just didn't interest me at all. Then again, I believe it was aimed more towards grade-school kids who would be impressed with what Logo could do, particularly the fact that it provided instant results. I remember when I got my //c, there was a music demo on one of the ProDOS disks that played Mozart's Sonata #3. Considering what little the machine had to work with, it did an admirable job of it. Also, Music Construction Set for the ][ series was pretty much useless for any serious music playback unless the system had a Mockingboard, an add-on, in my experience at least, very few did. Inky
I putzed aroundd with SmartLOGO on the Coleco ADAM, way back when, and from time to time, I mess with it on Windows. Interesting language.
Keatah
Crazy.. Man.. I always used to think it was an advancement way beyond AppleSoft and 6502 Assembly!
JamesD
I always thought it was a toy to get kids interested in computers.

Well, yeah, it was, more or less.

This is a tune from Final Fantasy using Logo
