retrorussell
I used to play Atari 2600 right after Knight Rider. I remember quite a few games of MOUSETRAP following right after. That stupid TV/Game switch would have to constantly be re-screwed in; we must have had screws that were the wrong size.
retrorussell
Cartoons I watched in the 80s included Saturday Supercade, Dungeons and Dragons, Thundercats, Inspector Gadget and Transformers. Playing games or my Texas Instruments TI-99 or Atari 2600 were often sandwiched around these shows.

Didn't it have only 6 episode and reused the same special effects scenes in each episode?
+fdr4prez
I remember Manimal. Didn't it have only 6 episode and reused the same special effects scenes in each episode? I just looked and it says 8 episodes. I only recall watching the first episode and maybe the second. I certainly don't recall anything about them. I've never done karaoke before, but this would be one of the few tunes that I'd be willing to do
retrorussell
Wow, is it a crowd favorite? I've never done karaoke before, but this would be one of the few tunes that I'd be willing to do A couple people definitely recognized it. A shame I don't have it on my computer anymore; maybe someday I can get it flash-drived off the bar's computer.

+Lathe26
I remember Star Blazers but only in fragments since I was in kindergarten at the time. Later, I had the theme song on my 486 computer, stored in VOC format (Creative Labs Sound Blaster format).

+Black_Tiger
I remember Manimal. Didn't it have only 6 episode and reused the same special effects scenes in each episode? Yeah, that's what I learned decades later thanks to the internet. At the time though, it was huge among my friends and seemed like the coolest concept for a show. +intvsteve
Lots of classics... Magnum P.I., Airwolf, Greatest American Hero, Dukes of Hazzard, Bring 'em Back Alive, CHIPs, Dallas, M*A*S*H, Alice, SWAT, Bionic Woman, Three's Company, Fantasy Island, Love Boat, ... dang, what the heck! For only having 3 channels we sure watched a hell of a lot of TV! I do remember calling "Knot's Landing" "Poop's Crash" though because my sister liked it. Not the nicest brother.
