P-GRAM+ Software needed, Available for download ?

Hi, I am interested in getting the Software for the Horizon P-GRAM or P-GRAM +

Card. Just purchased a couple of the New Proto boards, this looks

Like a good vacation project or spare time project. Also just downloaded

The Construction project guide from the WHT Schematic is included.

,

Kool part is I had already built the exact same Real Time Clock circuit

On a small perf board and used a removable buss connector, so I will be able

To add the clock feature after I build the P-gram + on the new Proto board.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi, YES, I downloaded the schematic diagram from the WHT, but I could not

Find any reference to the program software or any support Disk.

Would be bad if no one actualy still has a cope of the software.

,

Would really like to build this when ever the Brand New Proto

Boards are actually shipped .

,

Anyone out there have this software ?

,

Thanks for any help

Hi,

Thank you for the reply Greg and thank you to chopper commander for the

( 4 ) files. High red pictures sure would be helpful as soon as I

Start building this board.

,

I spent the off hours , what little I had away from my work job.

Working on getting my HDX1 board set backup. And searching the

WHT archives for the listing on the PGRAM and PGRAM+ boards.

,

Was at first a little confusing, seems most software is listed

Under emulators/pc99/pc99 dsk collection/vendors/budMillsServices.

,

That is how I did find some of the setup disk, today But not these

( 4 ) updated disk, thanks again for the great help

This is not a really good (as is) proto board project. The gram timing is sketchy at best on a pcb. It's failure window is less than plus 10ns (with a 100ns SRAM) on the finished product.

A 55Ns SRAM will help but your placement and wiring needs to be tight.

This circuit timing can be so tight that putting the card on an extender board at the far side of the flex card causes gram issues.

Sounds like I'm shitting here I know. Take it for what it's worth.

Interesting - tried the 2.3 DSR and it seems to not have the Y2K fix in it? I wonder if that is something that gets applied after the fact. There is a file on my PGRAM disk called PGRAMY2KAR. So I looked at the hex dump from the two DSR files on our respective disks.

On my disk - the versions are

PGDSR - ver 2.1 4/01/01

PGDSS - ver 2.1 4/01/01

On the PGRAM2_3 disk, the versions are

PGDSR - ver 2.0 10/29/89

PGDSS - ver 2.x 10/29/89

So there is a chance that the files got mixed up at some point. It seems like your utilities are newer, yet the DSR seems to have same dates as the originally distributed versions.

Do you have a copy of the PGSOURCE arc file?

I'll look through them - seems I do have a copy of the source code for the 1.0 version dated 10/29/89 and have attached the disk image. These were originally from an ARC file called "PG+SRC2/90" - and I believe I bought my PGRAM+ from Ernie Pergrem

Hi, here are the files I had gathered times ago. Maybe you want to have a look.

If there are doubles, maybe you can give some feedback so that I can delete or rename them.

If people can post their various P-GRAM+ versions, I'll collect it all and organize it. I have been experimenting with using CALL PG from BASIC to drop into the P-GRAM menu and dump carts. I was able to do that with the RXB cart I made from a UberGROM board.

https://www.arcadeshopper.com/wp/?page_id=11#!/PCB-Fetzner-UBERgrom-board-with-49F040-flash-ROM/p/44354004/category=16275020

I have tried loading things into my FlashROM99 - yet when I attempt to dump the cart I only get RAM Bank 1 and 2. (which I would expect) When I load it into the PGRAM I'll usually get the title screen (such as with DM2K) but it locks up right after. Being able to put DM2K or TIMXT into GROM/GRAM storage on a P-GRAM card seems like a cool thing...

I do have a FinalGROM on order - so fussing around with a (more or less obsolete) PGRAM may seem like a waste of time - but hey, it has a clock! :)

Cheers, Arthur...

good idea, organizing files. What I (mostly) do if I "rename" files,

I just _append something to the original filename. Mostly ;)

So there will be less question coming up in future I hope,

and it is for the legacy, a little bit at least

Hi,

Looki Looki, is this a P-GRAM-Card ? :)

PS: I think my one here is a MECHATRONIC GRAM ?

Is there a P-GRAM and a GRAM card, to different types, or is it all P-GRAM(+/Guion) ?

Which type is my one ? I also see NO battery....

Does the software from here above work ? DSRs  1.1 ??   1.7 ??   2.3 ??

(I dont think so, and I have found some DSKs.... will check)

2. PS: With Fredßs DU2K v2.1 I found the following DSRs: (yes, there is a list) ;)
