Recommended Posts

AM I CRAZY OR HAVE THE PRICE OF ATARI STUFF ON EBAY STARTED COMING DOWN. IVE SEEN LOADS OF COMMON GAMES NOT EVEN GET A BID AT 25 CENTS.AND CONSOLES WITH GAMES GOING FOR WELL UNDER TWENTY DOLLARS.MAYBE THE MARKET HAS BECOME FLOODED.OR MOST OF THE SERIOUS COLLECTORS HAVE PRETTY MUCH COMPLETED THEIR COLLECTIONS OF THE COMMON GAMES. WHAT U THINK. :?

Yeah, the same subject was brought up on the 7800 board, about how prices are going to go down once "garage sale season starts", which it has...and they (the prices) have :)

EDIT: or maybe it was the Classic Gaming General forum...I think that was it.

What's going on is that anyone who collects Atari 2600 games have most of the easy to get ones already in there collection, but games like Track & Field complete with box are costing an arm and a leg, I know.

:ponder: :!:

The total number of items on Ebay are extremely huge. Usually when I go on Ebay, it is because I am looking for something specific and take a look at what it is going for and make a decision to either try to outbid someone or wait till another time.

Sometimes also people do not bid on items because the person selling it might not have a lot of history and people are reluctant to bid because they are not sure if the item that they are bidding on will ever be received.

Prices vary on ebay. Most prices fluctuate but for the most part, they are pretty decent, unless its a rare one!
