dark lines when playing Shark Shark

There are dark horizontal lines on the screen when I play shark shark. Is the Intellivision causing them?

What happens if you move the RF cable around when you are displaying this game? Do the lines change/go away? Is the RF cable close to the power brick of an INTV II? Move it further away and see what happens.

moving the RF cable clears it up a little.

You can try a new rf cable eg. R59 or R6. What kind of TV; standard crt, lcd?

I'd do as suggested above and try a nice, well terminated, coax cable with appropriate ends on it. They are stiff but the quality can be a big step up.
