Mathy #3 Posted July 21, 2017 Hello guys I'd love to buy that stuff, but my goose with the golden eggs has been constipated for quite some time already and the vet tells me she won't get better for a while... The goose that is, not the vet. The vet is fine. Sincerely Mathy
+Allan #4 Posted July 22, 2017 I've had that stuff on my mind for a while. I would like to get them and archive them. I may pick up some of them with my birthday money in a couple of weeks. Of course the shipping will get me but at least they will be archived. Allan
+DrVenkman #5 Posted July 22, 2017 Isn't that all ST stuff? I'd be astounded if the ST and midi nuts over in Europe haven't backed that stuff up somewhere, probably on a German or Polish-language Atari or demoscene site.
BillC #6 Posted July 22, 2017 (edited) There are ST and 8-bit versions available. These images showed an SIO cable with the MIDIMATE interface: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HYBRID-ARTS-INC-MIDIMATE-MIDI-SYNC-INTERFACE-ATARI-COMPUTER-400-800-1200-130-/231988844625?hash=item36039cd851 And this one has 5-1/4" software discs labeled for Atari 8-bits with at least 48K memory. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HYBRID-ARTS-INC-GENPATCH-GENERIC-PATCH-LIBRARY-SOFTWARE-ATARI-400-600-800-1200-/222171149904?hash=item33ba6eb650 Edited July 22, 2017 by BillC
AtariGeezer #7 Posted July 22, 2017 (edited) Those MIDIMATE's look like the possible knock-offs that I bought 2 years ago. Notice they don't say "Made in U.S.A" like Allan's originals http://atariage.com/forums/topic/98341-whats-the-latest-atari-related-things-youve-bought-on-ebay/page-152?do=findComment&comment=2996176 The knock-offs have raised letters and the blue ink is rubbing off now... I had no idea anyone was doing MIDI stuff on the 8-bits back in the day, let alone commercial software houses like HybridArts. I remember having a copy of CZ Android for my 1040ST back then to store patches and stuff for my Casio keyboard. Good times.
