So just after saying I was curbing my gaming spending, an item I've wanted for like a year shows up on ebay. No box, but the first one I've seen with the battery cover in a year. At least it was not a big investment. Perhaps just one of my interests, since it is rare but not expensive after 20 years. Wonder if I will ever find a good box.

Does it have sensor bar?

No, it hasn't it's a real light gun and works the same way as the Radica Menacer. Similar guns with Sensorbar were made by SuperHappyFunFun for Jakks Pacific. Sensor Bar meaning a stupid plain IR light source as with the Wii.

Do you have any particular information on this piece? Is it similar to the Huntin2 and Huntin3 systems? Are the in-game graphics similar?

I would expect Huntin' and Huntin' 2 to be somewhat similar. According to their manuals (I looked them up online), both utilize Shinsedai's (SSD) XaviX plug-n-play technology under the hood. XaviX tech was used in several Japanese motion-based plug-n-play games during the 2000s, as well as LotR and Star Wars motion-based plug-n-play games from Tiger (Hasbro) in the West, plus SSD's own, pre-Wii XaviXPort sports console. Radica's Huntin' 3, however, has no mention of XaviX in its manual. I surmise that Radica may have gone with a competing plug-n-play architecture for that one, like maybe one of Sunplus' μnSP-series chips (a wild guess on my part).
