Any Amiga owners want a "Silversurfer" serial port device?

Recommended Posts

Yes I'm posting something about Amiga in the ST forum here.. Because I feel I know people here more than any other forum, and the Amiga is really just a side-interest after the Atari 8bit and ST :).

I have a Silversurfer high speed serial port upgrade that I bought for my A1200 that I could never get to work right. It would work for some period of time and always hard lock the A1200.. This device *requires* a clockport - something A1200s have, or something that other accelerator boards for other Amigas may also have..

So I'd like to give this away for free. If there's someone in the USA that wants this, PM me an address and I'll mail it to you. If you feel like reimbursing for the stamps on the envelope, you can do so after you receive it.

Here's more info on the device:

It requires a free clockport, in theory can operate up to 460800 baud, and is also MIDI compatible. I am not including the adapter that converts to 9 or 25 pin serial -- just the electronics piece itself, and the single sheet installation instructions.

Thanks!

John H

If no responses in a week or so I'll probably post on EAB ..
