SOLD FS: AV & Stereo 2600 Vader Console Modded by Osgeld

Hello all. Last year I bought this very nice AV & Stereo modded 2600 Vader from AtariAge member Osgeld. Since then I've picked up a AV modded 7800 from another member and ever since this one has just been collecting dust. I figured I'd offer it back up here to find it a loving home.

 

 

Osgeld did the following mods to the console:

 

• Took apart all 7 switches and cleaned contacts with ultra fine ("polishing") scotch brite
• Replaced 7805 Voltage regulator and added heat sink
• Removed RF modulator and installed composite video mod featuring a FMS636x video buffer/driver/filter
• Added Stereo mod without bending pins on the TIA chip, channel select switch now switches from stereo and mono (over stereo connection) function
• Added power on LED indicator
• AV connections via single plug 4 pole headphone style jack

 

The system comes with:

 

• Aftermarket power supply
• Stereo AV cable
• 1 like new joystick from Atari flashback console
